James Gillespie's High School (Scottish Gaelic: Àrd-sgoil Sheumais Ghilleasbuig) is a state-funded secondary school in Marchmont, Edinburgh, Scotland. It is a comprehensive high school, educating pupils between the ages of 11 and 18, situated at the centre of Edinburgh.

This year, they slipped all the way down to 26th on the list, in the process being overtaken by The Royal High School, who stole their 15h position. We are situated in the centre of Edinburgh and have been a fully comprehensive, non-denominational high school since 1973. We deliver courses at every level up to Advanced Higher and pride ourselves in supporting all learners to achieve at the highest level possible.
