Here Comes the Grump is an animated cartoon series produced by DePatie–Freleng Enterprises and aired on NBC from 1969 to 1970. It was later shown in reruns on Sci-Fi Channel's Cartoon Quest. Structured as a battle between good and evil, the show was played for comedy.
The bumbling, goofy Grump (Rip Taylor) has placed a curse of gloom all over the land; now it's up to Princess Dawn, her dog-like companion Bip (Mel Blanc, voice of Bugs Bunny) and young Terry (Dennis the Menace's Jay North) to save the kingdom - and only the Crystal Key can break the curse.
