The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin, UT, or Texas) is a public research university in Austin, Texas. Founded in 1883, it is the flagship institution of the University of Texas System. With 52,384 students as of Fall 2022, it is also the largest institution in the system.
Campus Walking Tours. For a listing of walking tours available on a given day, select a burnt orange date on the calendar. The appointment times are in Central Daylight Time. Walking tours are currently only offered to high school juniors, seniors and admitted freshman.
