Infineon’s wafer fabrication facility in Kulim High Tech Park, Kedah, is its first wafer fab in Asia and presently employs 1,500 staff. The Kulim plant has recently embarked on an expansion plan which includes a new 12,000 sqm fab facility with the potential to double production capacity.
