16 Apr 2021 · Many of the outdoor scenes were actually filmed on sound stages. Indoor sets were used to film the church graveyard, fields of wheat, a snow swept battlefield, and the Tree of the Dead. Real trees were used for much of the forest areas. The larger trees, however, were made from molds of genuine oaks.
