Tiger Beer is a Singaporean brand of beer first launched in 1932. It is currently produced by Heineken Asia Pacific, formerly known as Asia Pacific Breweries. The company is a joint venture between Heineken N.V. and Singaporean multinational food and beverage company Fraser and Neave .
In Malaysia, Tiger Beer is marketed by Heineken Malaysia Berhad, exported from Singapore. In the United Kingdom, Tiger Beer can be found in more than 8,000 premium bars/clubs and distribution outlets in its major cities.

Initially, there was stiff competition between Heineken and Thai tycoon Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi for the management and ownership of APB, and therefore the right to distribute Tiger Beer. The Thai Tycoon owned Thai Beverage which was Southeast Asia's second-biggest brewer at the time.
The Dutch beer maker, which already owns 42% of Singapore-based APB, agreed to buy Fraser & Neave's 40% holding in the brewer for $53 per share, up from an initial bid of $50, according to a statement yesterday.
