Average mall in Penang, with mainly independent stores (not many international stores) - lots of choice but nothing special. The Gurney area malls are much better (or 1st Ave across the street). And alas, unlike all the other recent reviews, I didn't get to encounter Patrick from Vision First and his 'wonderful' store

Prangin Mall - not an up market mall but worth a visit for cheap bargains which we scored with clothing and shoes. Its in the heart of Georgetown so really good for getting a feel for Penang and the hustle and bustle of local life.
