The aim of this competition is to contribute the establishment of “Rule of Law” in Asia. Through the Moot Court Competition, students from Asian countries contend for their ability to write memorials and to present oral pleadings on a fictional lawsuit case regarding international law.
The Asia Cup is the oldest regional moot in Asia. An initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, the competition has attracted a broad range of participants throughout Asia. The competition programme is particularly noted for its immersive cross-cultural elements.
