By Ivan Nadalet 24Feb2017. ANA Holdings has increased its shareholding in LCC unit Peach Aviation (MM, Osaka Kansai) after it acquired a 28% stake for an expected consideration of JPY100 billion (USD887 million).
Peach Aviation will merge with ANA's wholly-owned LCC, Vanilla Air, with Peach being the surviving brand. The merger will result in changes in the aircraft market, as Peach operates new build aircraft and Vanilla Air has outstanding orders for three A320ceos.
