    MapleStory itself is a grindy game be it GMS, KMS or MSEA. Difference is that GMS and MSEA have different ways to progress. GMS have more content to work with (notably gollux, commerci, lvl3 link skills, etc) and hence easier to progress than in MSEA.

    Can any experienced players tell me how much pay-to-win (or pay-to-progress) is the current MapleSEA? This is my definition for pay-to-win (or pay-to-progress) for any free MMO: New players are able to progress very smoothly until endgame content.

    I started playing MapleSEA again last year (so I was a new player). The game is pretty grindy. There’s also a lot of time gate system which will hinder your progression towards the end game so don’t expect to get to end game in a short amount of time.
