Ra’anana is a beautiful city, located in the center of Israel; considered to be one of the most thriving and prosperous cities, some 15km from Tel Aviv. More specifically speaking, Ra’anana is located in the heart of the southern “Sharon Plain”, in central Israel with a population of nearly 70,000.
On January 15, 2024, during the Israel–Hamas war, a combined vehicle-ramming and stabbing attack occurred in the industrial zone of Ra'anana. One civilian was killed and eighteen others were injured. The two attackers, Palestinian residents of Bani Na'im in the Hebron area, were arrested.
