Aug 15, 2023 · The University of Queensland has ranked 51 in the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) 2023, maintaining second position in Australia. The latest result follows UQ’s strong performance in this year’s QS World University Rankings, jumping seven places to be ranked 43 in the world.
The University of Queensland has improved its global ranking by seven places, based on indicators including Research and Discovery, Global Engagement, Learning Experience, Employability and Sustainability. UQ Vice-Chancellor Professor Deborah Terry said the results reflect the impact of UQ's teaching, research and innovation across a range of fields.
