Mar 12, 2024 · WCE is a 314.5km highway that starts from Banting in Selangor and ends at Taiping Selatan. The Selangor portion is still a work in progress and only selected sections such as Bukit Raja Selatan to Assam Jawa (Sections 5 and 6) are open.
WCE Section 6 recent opening, marks continued positive progression. Key highlights: Toll concession segment has demonstrated a significant 25% quarter-on-quarter improvement. Opening of Section 6 (Bandar Bukit Raja Utara – Assam Jawa) on 21 November 2023.
WCE has projected an average daily traffic of 300,000 vehicles upon full completion of the 233km highway, which will have 11 sections in total. THE West Coast Expressway will open its fifth section in two weeks which is also the first interchange that connects to another major highway.
