Dylan and his younger identical twin Cole Sprouse were raised in their parents' Long Beach, California. He has acted from the age of six months, initially with Cole, and continues to do so out of his new home base of NYC after receiving his bachelors degree from NYU.
Cole began his acting career alongside Dylan at the tender age of six months. From 1993 to 1998 the twins shared the role of Patrick Kelly on ABC's hit series Grace Under Fire (1993), soon booking them as Julian in Adam Sandler 's box office hit, Big Daddy (2000).
