The Gombak District is an administrative district located in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. The district was created on February 1, 1974, the same day when Kuala Lumpur was declared a Federal Territory .
Gombak merupakan sebuah daerah di negeri Selangor. Daerah ini terletak di bahagian timur negeri Selangor dan berkeluasan 650 kilometer persegi. Daerah ini juga menjadi daerah kelima paling ramai penduduk dan antara yang terpadat di Malaysia dengan jumlah penduduk seramai 942,400 orang.
Covering 65,008 hectares, Gombak is the third smallest district in Selangor with hilly terrains in the east, north and west, while the central region is mainly lowlands. The main rivers flowing through are Sungai Gombak, Sungai Klang, and Sungai Batu.
Popular things to do in Gombak include Zoo Negara, Batu Caves, and Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM). The district of Gombak is also home to an aboriginal Orang Asli settlement and is the site of the Orang Asli Museum.

Spanning over 112,955 hectares, the Gombak – Hulu Langat Geopark includes Gombak District and Hulu Langat District. The Gombak District Administration, which has its headquarters in the Gombak District and Land Office, is responsible for two Local Authorities: the Selayang Municipal Council and the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council.
