Malaysia joined the IsDB in August 1974. Its capital subscription stands at ID 823.1 million (1.63% of IsDB total subscribed capital). The first IsDB operation was approved in 1977 and the last operation in March 2017.
The purpose of the Center of Excellence is to facilitate comprehensive ecosystem development, value chain integration and market expansion in three main focus areas namely, Islamic Finance and Halal Industry .
