Sir James Brooke, Raja Putih Sarawak (29 April 1803 – 11 Jun 1868) ialah seorang tentera British dan pengembara yang mengasaskan Kerajaan Sarawak di Borneo. Baginda memerintah sebagai Raja Putih. pertama Sarawak dari tahun 1841 sehingga kemangkatannya pada tahun 1868.
James Brooke merupakan orang Inggeris yang dilahirkan Benares, India pada 29 April 1803. Beliau kemudian dihantar ke England dan dijaga oleh nenek beliau. Di England, beliau memasuki sekolah Norwich. James Brooke seorang yang cepat bosan dalam pendidikan yang beliau terima.
