Johnson Controls Hitachi AC Limited is a Japanese multinational air conditioning manufacturing company that manufactures home appliances and specialises in air conditioning and cooling technology. The company was incorporated on 1 October 2015 in Tokyo, as a Joint Venture between Johnson Controls and Hitachi Appliances.
Johnson Controls–Hitachi Air Conditioning was established on October 1st, 2015 as a joint venture between Hitachi Appliances, Inc. (now Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc.) and Johnson Controls, Inc. Hitachi Appliances carved out and contributed its air conditioning business to the Joint Venture.
