    The City Mosque is probably the biggest & the 2nd most important mosque in Kota Kinabalu. It is known as “Likas Floating Mosque” because it is surrounded by a man-made lagoon & from a distance, the mosque appeared to be floating. Somehow, the picturesque image reminded me of King Arthur’s time, with castles & surrounding moats.
