Tan Sri Abdul Rashid Hussain (born 1946 Singapore) is a Malaysian entrepreneur. He is the founder of RHB Group. In less than a decade, he built a financial services conglomerate comprising a stockbroking firm, a commercial bank, a finance company and a merchant bank- RHB Bank.
Rashid Hussain acquires a 75% stake in Kwong Yik Bank Berhad. 1997 Merger of Kwong Yik Bank Berhad and DCB Bank Berhad to form RHB Bank, then Malaysia’s third largest financial services group.

Dec 20, 2023 · PUTRAJAYA, Dec 20 — Prominent businessman and founder of RHB banking group Tan Sri Abdul Rashid Hussain has been appointed as Tabung Haji (TH) chairman, effective today. Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Mohd Na’im Mohktar, in a statement today, said Rashid is taking over from Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar.
