The Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN, Malay: Tentera Laut Diraja Malaysia; TLDM; Jawi: تنترا لا ء وت دراج مليسيا ) is the naval arm of the Malaysian Armed Forces. RMN is the main agency responsible for the country's maritime surveillance and defense operations.

Nama pasukan ini berubah menjadi ‘Malayan Naval Force’ pada tahun 1949. Pada tahun 1952, Ratu Elizabeth II telah menganugerahkan gelaran ’Diraja’ kepada pasukan ini dan dikenali sebagai ‘Royal Malayan Navy’ (Tentera Laut Diraja Malaya).
The equipment of the Royal Malaysian Navy can be subdivided into: ships, aircraft, radar, weapons, munitions, firearms and attire. All RMN ship carries the prefix KD ( Malay : Kapal Di-Raja, literally "Royal Ship"), which is equivalent to "His Majesty's Ship" in English.
