Sundar C. is a South Indian film director and actor. He has directed over 25 films in Tamil and Telugu. Initially, he worked as an assistant director to Manivannan and became a director with the family drama Murai Maman. His notable films include Ullathai Allitha, Arunachalam and Anbe Sivam.
Following his debut, Sundar C later directed films like Ullathai Allitha (1996), Mettukudi (1996) before eventually gaining widespread recognition and fame with Arunachalam (1997), which not only become a blockbuster but also won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Film.
