The Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris, also known as the Marassi from the name of the neighbourhood where it is located, is a multi-use stadium in Genoa, Italy. The home of Genoa C.F.C. and U.C. Sampdoria football clubs, it opened in 1911 and is the oldest stadium still in use for football and other sports in Italy.

Luigi Ferraris Stadium. Click here to view image. The first football field in Marassi, Genoa, was built in 1910 and inaugurated in January 1911 in a land closed to Musso Piantelli Mansion. The previous field had been used for equitation for many years. In the northern part of it there was, since 1909, the “Andrea Doria” field.
It was a great experience. I had the chance to watch two matches in Luigi Ferraris Stadium. The first game was "Sampdoria vs Napoli" and the second one was "Genoa vs Roma". I shall admit that Genoa supporters were more fun and crazier in a good way.
