It is believed to be the first major long-haul carrier to restart cabin crew recruitment following the devastating effects that the pandemic wreaked upon the international airline industry.

Jul 31, 2018 · It’s been several months since Akbar Al Baker, the chief executive of Qatar Airways said he expected his airline to plunge to a huge loss for the 2017-2018 financial year. Speaking at the Eurasia air show in Turkey, Baker described the losses as “substantial”, telling reporters that he expected the airline’s full accounts to be made public in a matter of weeks.
