Biography: Anthony Edwards is an American actor, best known for playing Dr. Mark Greene for the first eight seasons of ER. This role brought him many accolades: a Golden Globe Award in 1998, six Screen Actors Guild Awards, including Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series (1996 and 1998), and four Emmy nominations.
