Pianist Greg Burk has been forging a personal musical vision well documented on his numerous recordings on Soul Note, SteepleChase, 482 Music, Jazzwerkstatt and now on his new label Tonos Records. Together these three breathe new life and vision into the classic piano trio setting.
Real Name: Greg Burk. Profile: American jazz pianist and composer born in 1969 in Lansing, Minnesota, he currently lives in Rome. He studied at the New England Conservatory of Music where he completed a master’s degree studying with George Russell, Danilo Perez, Cecil McBee, Charlie Banacos, Jerry Bergonzi and Paul Bley.
