Commission Activities. NECF held its 18th Biennial General Meeting (BGM) on the 21st of May 2022 at SS Gospel Centre, Petaling Jaya. A total of 53 people attended the event. In his welcoming address, the Rev Dr Eu Hong Seng, NECF Chairman provided updates and thoughts regarding the 5 main issues that took place during the past two years.

NECF was formed to serve four main objectives. 1. To provide a platform for fellowship among churches especially in missions, evangelism, Bible teaching and social action. 2. To assist in spurring, under the hand of God, renewal and revival in Malaysia. 3. To provide a medium for safeguard and spread of the Christian faith.
The NECF has been adopted in the ACT, Tasmania, South Australia, NSW and Queensland. Victoria has not adopted the NECF, however it has completed a process to harmonise the Victorian Energy Retail Code and the NECF. The Northern Territory has adapted a modified form of the NECF through chapter 5A of the National Electricity Rules.
