Mar 28, 2022 · Ningbo Zhoushan Port was ranked first in the 2021 rankings for global ports in terms of cargo throughput, according to a report recently released by the Shanghai International Shipping Institute (SISI). The port handled 1.22 billion metric tons of cargo in 2021, up 4.4 percent year-on-year and topping the global rankings for the 13th straight year.
