Description. Marvelon is a combined oral contraceptive pill that you can take to prevent unwanted pregnancy. Marvelon helps reduce heavy bleeding and lessens period pain. Marvelon is made by N.V. Organon. Each Marvelon pill contains ethinylestradiol (an oestrogen) and desogestrel (a progestogen).
When you have finished 1 pack of 21-day pills, stop taking Marvelon for 7 days and start taking a new pack on day 8. For someone who has used combined hormonal contraception before, you will take it. the first Marvelon pill on the day after the previous contraceptive use or no later than the scheduled date of reintroduction of the old method.
