The unlisted portfolio has grown steadily over the years as we invested in attractive opportunities in the private markets and benefitted from the increase in the value of our unlisted assets. As at 31 March 2023, 47% of our portfolio was in liquid and listed assets, and 53% was in unlisted assets and funds.

Rohit joined Temasek in 2008. Prior to Temasek, Rohit spent 11 years with Morgan Stanley holding senior positions across its Mumbai and Hong Kong offices before his appointment as Managing Director & Head of South East Asia Investment Banking in Singapore. Rohit started his initial career with Citibank, India and McKinsey & Co in India.
The evolution of Temasek towards full responsibility for the appointment and renewal of Board and management personnel was articulated by former Temasek Chairman Mr S Dhanabalan (Chairman of Temasek Holdings, 1996-2013), at Temasek’s 39 th anniversary dinner, where he shared:
