Further to the 24 hour delay, the flight was delayed by ANOTHER 3 hours. A scheduled 27 hour flight from Europe to Australia turned into a 3 day journey. It was such a terrible experience it’s really not worth it. Don’t do it, spend the extra money and book with any other airline, but Batik Air.
We chose Batik for its direct flight from Karachi to Kuala Lumpur, hoping to save time. However, it turned out to be a mistake. We were informed about the delay just 4 hours before the flight, when we were already on our way to the airport, and had to turn back.
Feb 14, 2024 · Batik Air Malaysia’s Onboard Tech Graveyard. To Batik Air Malaysia’s credit, once I did get onboard, the cabin product was quite nice. I was on a non-MAX 737, which featured 12 recliner business class seats – recline really wasn’t great, but it was nice to see a “real” regional business class product after flying so many segments intra-Europe.
