Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (abbreviated as UTAR; simplified Chinese: 拉曼大学; traditional Chinese: 拉曼大學) is a not-for-profit private research university in Malaysia.
UTAR Campuses. To serve a large portion of the populace, UTAR has two campuses, namely the UTAR Kampar Campus in Perak, and the UTAR Sungai Long Campus in the Klang Valley. The two campuses house 9 faculties, 3 institutes and 4 centres of studies.
It is located in the growing township of Bandar Barat Kampar in Perak. Strategically located off the North-South highway, UTAR Kampar Campus is 190 km from Kuala Lumpur which is slightly over two hours away from the city by car. The Campus welcomed its first intake of students in May 2007.
