Wispers School. A new girls' boarding secondary school moved to the site in 1947. The school was part of Herries School at Cookham Dean in Berkshire, and was initially known as Herries School at Wispers. It was renamed Wispers School for the start of the autumn term 1949, taking its name from the house.

Wispers School. In January 1969 Mr Wallis sold Oak Hall and its grounds to the Wispers School Educational Trust. Wispers School moved to Oak Hall from its previous site at West Dean House; it continued at Oak Hall until the closure of the School nearly 40 years later at the end of the 2008 summer term.
