Shin Su-won (born 1967) is a South Korean film director and screenwriter. Shin wrote and directed Passerby #3 (2010), Pluto (2013) and Madonna (2015). Her short film Circle Line won the Canal+ Prize for Best Short Film at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.

Director Shin Suwon was born in 1967 in Korea. She majored in German Language at Seoul National University and first worked as a history teacher in middle school. During her teaching career she wrote and published two novels focused on teens’ lives.
Born in 1967, SHIN Suwon studied script writing at the Korea National University of Arts. She has gained international acclaim through short CIRCLE LINE (Canal+ Prize at Cannes Critic's Week) and second feature PLUTO (Special Mention at Generation 14 plus of 2014 Berlin Int'l Film Festival).
