Stephen John Anderson (born June 5, 1970) is an American storyboard artist, screenwriter, film director, and voice actor. Career. Anderson attended the California Institute of the Arts, where he also served as a story instructor for four years. Anderson joined Walt Disney Animation Studios in 1999 as a story artist on Tarzan.
Anderson is a self-taught, Midwestern Outsider artist whose acrylic paintings depict whimsical worlds inhabited by fairies, mermaids, aliens, fabulous creatures, and glamorous ladies, often in distress, as well as also creating a body of work of historical portraits.

Stephen Anderson was born in 1967 in San Pedro, California. He received a Bachelors of Fine Art degree from California State University Long Beach (CSULB). Following graduation, Stephen pursued a career in art, he joined art organizations and began to exhibit extensively, across the United States and in Paris, France.
