Through an interest in collecting, I became aware of art glass. I shared this interest with my father, Delmo Tarsitano. We started a hot glass studio in 1975. Sadly, my father passed in 1991, sending me on an artistic exploration reinventing my work, my life, and myself.
Debbie Tarsitano. Artist Debbie Tarsitano (1955– ) studied painting throughout her youth and earned a BFA from Hofstra University in 1976. She and her father, Delmo Tarsitano, shared a passion for glass, first as paperweight collectors and then as makers of their own flamework weights.
