Charles John Musser (born 16 January 1951) is a film historian, documentary filmmaker, and a film editor. [1] Since 1992, he has taught at Yale University, where he is currently a professor of Film and Media Studies as well as American Studies and Theater Studies.
Charles Musser teaches courses on film and media historiography, American cinema and documentary film (both critical studies and production). He also serves as Director of the Summer Film Institute.
