Aug 15, 2023 · I hate the traffic and the lack of public transportation. I hate the vanity and how everyone is “so Hollywood.”. I hate the pollution. I hate the lack of neighborhoods. LA just rubs me the wrong way. But I haven’t spent much time in the city. My opinion has only been formed by a few short visits.

LA is actually a terrible tourist destination IMO, all the good stuff to do is at least an hour or more away from downtown, so people go to Hollywood blvd on vacation and see ‘this is LA’ then go home and talk about how it smells like poop and they got robbed by the green lantern

LA was our base for almost 4 years, but unfortunately (or who knows, maybe, fortunately) it never felt like home.
