Ausdance ACT has appointed Dr Cathy Adamek as its new director. Adamek has made a significant contribution to Australian dance, theatre, music and film as an independent artist and creative producer and through her research, writing and organisational leadership over the last 30 years.
Ausdance ACT is the peak body for dance in the ACT headed by Director Dr. Cathy Adamek. We are part of a member-based non-for-profit national network and advocacy body, supporting independent dance artists, dance studios, dance teachers and dance education.
Dr Cathy Adamek is a renowned independent artist, creative producer and academic with 30 years of experience in dance, theatre, music and film. She will move from Adelaide to Canberra in mid-October to lead Ausdance ACT, the peak body for dance in the ACT.
