Nov 1, 2021 · You likely did this by unwittingly pressing CTRL + right SHIFT. To switch back to typing from left to right, press CTRL + left SHIFT. Another way to fix this is to go to Start menu > Settings app > Time and Language > Language > Keyboard and make sure the correct input method is chosen. Report abuse. Igor Leyko.

Jan 27, 2023 · Teams typing backwards after editing a message I am not sure if this is a feature or a bug as most references to this seem to highlight the CTRL SHIFT L/R option to do it. After typing a message, if I then edit the message and highlight the message from right to left using the mouse then once I start typing the message then types from right to left.

Dec 14, 2021 · Text enters backwards in Teams chat. We have several users who are experiencing Teams chat entering text backwards in dialogues and I’ve found nothing of relevance online as to why. I verified it's not keyboard issues/drivers, nor is it from CTRL + R Shift or CTRL + L Shift. It happens sporadically and there is no common theme when it occurs.

Try connecting the keyboard to a different USB port if its a USB wired keyboard. Press Windows key + X. Click Device Manager. Expand Keyboards.
Apr 14, 2023 · It seems to be only when i change chat threads and type before the chat thread loads OR when changing from another app to the MS teams desktop app and type before teams has the chance to load. Once teams is finished loading the text starts typing correctly (although the text entered before loading was completed is still backwards)
