In 1982, Hubert Gerstlauer, a former employee of the Anton Schwarzkopf -owned Schwarzkopf Industries GmbH company founded his own company, named Gerstlauer Elektro GmbH. With this new Gerstlauer-named company, he delivered electric and pneumatic equipment for Schwarzkopf's facilities.
