Declan O'Brien (December 21, 1965 – February 16, 2022) was an American film and television writer and director. He was known as the director of three films in the Wrong Turn series (2009–2012) and he was the president of Fairport Filmworks.

Apr 24, 2022 · Looks like he apparently passed away on February 16, 2022 at the age of 56 with no cause given. A few years back I powered through the Wrong Turn franchise and his entries were fun time killers. I also saw his SyFy movie Rock Monster and the sequel Joy Ride 3. RIP.
