Nassau Community College (NCC) is a public community college on Long Island, New York. It was founded in 1959 and is part of the State University of New York.
NCC: PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE. Nassau Community College was created as part of the State University of New York by the Nassau County Board of Supervisors on February 9, 1959. When the College opened in a wing of the County Court House in Mineola on February 1, 1960, it had only 632 students.
