The Terrorist (Tamil: பயங்கரவாதி, romanized: Bayangaravaathi) is an Indian Tamil-language film directed by Santosh Sivan. The film portrays a period in the life of a 19-year-old woman, Malli ( Ayesha Dharker ), sent to assassinate a leader in South Asia through a suicide bombing .
In "The Terrorist," Malli (Ayesha Dharker) is aided by a young boy (Vishwas) during the final days before her suicide bombing mission. Malli is only 19, a young woman who has spent all of her life within the closed world of a movement.
