Plot. A man named Alderson awakens in a room which has hatches on each wall and floor, each leading to other rooms. He enters another room, and is killed by a trap. Five different people all meet in another room: men Quentin, Rennes, and Worth, and women Leaven and Holloway. Quentin warns the group that he has seen traps in some of the other rooms.

11 Sep 1997 · "Cube" is a true rare gem of a movie that packs quite a punch. I'll never understand why it has never received the recognition it truly deserves. Believe it or not, "Cube" isn't s spinoff, remake, reboot, sequel, or cheap knockoff. It's not like the average cookie cutter movies.

The film follows a group of people led by Quentin, a policeman, as they cross industrialized cube-shaped rooms, with some rigged with various traps designed to kill. Cube gained notoriety for its surreal atmosphere and Kafkaesque setting, with the industrial, cube-shaped room design and concept.
