1 Jul 2022 · What is Buried Must Remain is a production of the Lighthouse Peace Initiative and was made through the Manara Center which is in the center of the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon and has the largest concentration of Syrian refugees in the region. Since 2018, the center has served teenagers and young adults by teaching art, design, and film.
Set in Lebanon, What Is Buried Must Remain is a modern ghost story with ancient roots. When three young filmmakers set out to make a documentary about a French industrialist, accused of murdering his family, they are confronted by supernatural forces engaged in a war for the very soul of the land.
