Oct 2, 2020 · Gantz: O is sticking to the manga, the arc the movie is takes place in is a few arcs after the arc of the anime. Yes. Gantz O takes place towards the middle-ish of the series and is heavily altered and edited, lots of things and characters are removed.
Feb 25, 2017 · The Scene you mean was a Flashabck. Katou was a Member of the Gantz Tokyo Team before but get freedome. After that he was killed in the subway and is now again in the game. In the Time he was free the other mebers get killed in Missions also Kurono. Katou dont rember Kurono, Suzuki, Nishi or Reia at the moment.

Oct 23, 2017 · Gantz O the awesome cgi movie starts off in one of the best arcs of the entire series the Osaka arc. IT has the most epic battles and probably if not the strongest alien that the gantz team has faced up until that point. KATO asks the alien why do they fight each other but the Nuriyahon alien couldnt finish as it was ambushed by a sneak attack from reika and Katos lover he never saw again.
Aug 13, 2020 · The movie Gantz:O is meant to be an experience anyone can have not just gantz fans so a lot is changed and the O is for Osaka Arc which is what the movie is about! The movie is around the middle of the Manga and a lot of characters are missing but i highly recommend reading from the beginning Kato is a main character at that point in time too.

Gantz O feels like a dream to me now, for such a weird kinda niche manga this film is totally beautiful. There’s some references that you might not get in the film and it changes the story a lot, but it captures the tone of the arc well and it looks incredible, undoubtably the prettiest thing to happen to Gantz.
