The cinema students Toby, Bud, Leon, Joannie, Tina, Cheryl and Maggie organize a horror film marathon in a derelict movie theater with their professor Mr. Davis to raise funds to make their own films.
Popcorn is just lots of cheesy fun, not everything works but what does is extremely effective. A group of film students decide to put on a mini "horrorcon" to raise money to fix up a rundown theatre. Showing three 50's movies complete with promotional gimmicks like Shock-o-Scope, 3D, and Aroma-rama.
