Synopsis. When book publisher Robert Lenhart ( Paul Lukas) is forced to pay $23,000 in overdue debts to his creditors, he begins to economize both at the office and at home. Bob loves his extravagant wife Eve ( Helen Vinson) and is unhappy that he must ask her to cut down on her lavish purchases.
