Summary. In San Francisco cubicle-caged accountant and single mom, Chris Johansen, thought she had outrun the pain from the loss of her fisher mother who was washed to sea. The emotional wound resurfaces as her teen daughter, Lucie, turns out to be a chip off the old block of grandma.
